At Econest Tim Safaris and tours Ltd, we executes our terms and conditions which are based on all inbound and outbound Safaris depending on our set policies.

Liability

Please note that your booking is accepted upon understanding that you come on holiday entirely on your own decision to make the Safari due to the fact there are certain inherent dangers involved with adventure travel. We assume no responsibility whatsoever for any event we have no control over.

Eco Nest Tim Safaris Ltd will not be held responsible for acts of nature, fire, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, terrorist acts, strikes, thefts, pilferage ,epidemics, quarantines, dangers, incidents to water, land and air travel, incidents with wildlife and other similar acts or incidents beyond its ability to control.

Booking and Payment

When booking your holiday direct with Eco Nest Tim Safaris Ltd. Please quote the tour number or your own specialized itinerary, intended date for arrival and departure, number of people traveling and special arrangements.

Please also specify food allergies etc. These will ensure that our arrangements are to your satisfaction.
The person making the booking must understand clearly what is exactly included in the price of the tour ands what is not.
Up on confirmation of your tour with us you are required to fill the reservation form and send it back to us as a proof that you have read this page and agreed.

Gorilla tracking requires a minimum of 12 weeks advance booking for the permit.

Children under 12 years are not allowed to track chimpanzee and children under 15 years are not allowed to trek Gorillas. A 50% deposit is required 10 weeks before intended departure to secure necessary bookings and reservations. Balance is to be settled at least 30 days prior to commencement of the tour.
Note : 100% payment is required to secure the Gorilla permits

Cancellation

Full refund will be provided if cancellation occurs in writing 50 days prior to commencement of a safari.
Refund on all prepaid money will be based on cancellation fees levied by hotels and lodges. Generally there is a 50% charge on cancellation within 14 – 30 days , 75% charge within 2 – 14 days and 100% charge within 48 hours.

We reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid

There will be no refund for Gorilla permits as this is a direct policy from Uganda wildlife Authority and Rwanda Wild Life Authority .However Eco Nest Tim Safaris Ltd will always try to sell the permits when their clients are not able to do the tracking its our clients responsibility to arrange a full insurance with an insurance company,

Wild animals

Making a safari in Africa takes you to close contact with wild animals. Attacks by wild animals has never happened and its very rare but no visit to the African wilderness can guarantee that this will not occur.

Always follow the safety instructions from your guide or camps staff especially with regards to moving to and from your tent, hotel, Banda, lodge and while on game activities through your trip. We will not be held responsible incase of any incident or injury because most of all hotels, safari camps and lodges are not fenced meaning animals move freely around the lodges.

Tour Prices

Most of tour packages are all inclusive including Transport IN 4wd safari van, fuel, accommodation, all meals, park entrance fees, Boat cruise, Game drive, chimpanzee tracking, full time guide /driver. Ferry crossings where applicable, unlimited mineral water and excludes accommodation and meals while in Kampala, travelers insurance, flights, local departure taxes, visa fees, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, laundry and other personal expenses like tipping. So we strongly advise you to confirm and understand what includes and not in your paid packages

Change of Itinerary or Accommodation

Eco Nest Tim Safaris Ltd always provide confirmed and advance booked holidays but you should be informed that routes and lodges on Safari might be changed as dictated by un avoidable conditions like heavy rains , animal movements from one region to another, airline delays, booking problems as well as other conditional reasons. A refund will not be considered if a reasonable option is found

Complaints

If you have a reason to complain dissatisfaction while on a safari, you must bring it to the attention of the guide or group leader so as the problem is fixed promptly. You are also required to consult with us for specific age policies at the lodges and for activities in your itinerary such as Chimpanzee and Gorilla tracking.
