Detailed itinerary for 3 Days Chimpanzee tracking Kibale

Day 1 : Travel from Kampala to Kibale National Park

After early breakfast, Leave Kampala for a half day drive west via Mityana to Fort Portal through papyrus swamps and tea gardens to Kibale National Park just under the Ruwenzori Mountains as you pass through verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms. A stopover in Fort Portal for lunch at Gardens restaurant. Thereafter drive at your booked accommodation to Kibale. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge (luxury Lodge facility) or Primate lodge (Mid range Lodge) or Chimps Nest (Budget facility). Meal plan: (L, D)

Day 2 : Chimpanzee tracking Kibale National Park

An early morning visit after your breakfast inside Kibale Forest National Park, reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa for chimpanzee trekking starting at 8:00 am. A half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects.

The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is informative, enjoyable and excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. After lunch, go for the Bigodi Walk an initiative of the local community. The swamp is known for its rich diversity of its birdlife including the rare blue tullaco. Meals and overnight at Kyaninga Lodge (Lodge facility) Primate lodge (Mid range Lodge) or Chimps Nest (Budget facility). Day 3 : Travel back from Kibale forest National Park to Kampala

After your breakfast, take a hike to the crater lakes, an amazing experience for sightseeing and the best scenery in Uganda or many they have regarded it to as a million dollar view. Later after proceed to Kampala with lunch en route. Meal Plan B-L. End of service
